ECMTC have been helping to raise money for good causes for many years. Here are but a few. Following the charitable success of Calendar Girls in 2013, our Spring 2014 production Showstoppers continued to support Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research!.
In the later part of 2014 our chosen charity was a local charity St Ann's Hospice. We continued to support St Ann’s in 2015 with The Witches of Eastwick and in 2016 with two concerts The Best of Broadway 1 & 2. The 2017 production of Boogie Nights supported the charity. Tommy’s, which funds research into saving babies lives.
Tommy's exists to save babies' lives. We fund research into the causes and prevention of pregnancy complications that lead to miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth. We also provide pregnancy health information for parents-to-be. We are the largest charity funding research into the causes of miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth.
Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research is the only UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of patients with all types of blood cancer, including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma. They are focused on finding causes, improving diagnosis and treatments, and running ground-breaking clinical trials for all blood cancer patients.
We’re proud to be one of the oldest and largest adult hospices outside of London. Our purpose is to provide excellent care and support to people living with or affected by life-limiting illnesses. We were founded in 1971 and have been caring for patients with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones ever since.
The Wellspring provides referrals into housing; we have supported over 1500 rough sleepers off the streets and into accommodation. We actively engage with people who are at risk of becoming homeless therefore preventing homelessness from happening.
